This Privacy Policy explains how Coody (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Angel Fluid device mobile application (the “App”) and related services available at https://app.coody.co.kr.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

  • App identifiers: an installation ID generated on your device for settings and support.
  • Preference data: language, region, theme, and notification preferences you select.
  • Device-related data: information needed to register, bind, and control compatible devices (for example model, connection status, and control settings you save).
  • Technical data: App version and basic runtime information for updates, compatibility, and troubleshooting.
  • Support communications: information you provide when contacting customer service.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication generally occurs locally between your phone and the hardware. We do not sell your personal information.

  • Provide device registration, binding, control, and saved settings features.
  • Remember your language, theme, and other preferences.
  • Deliver service notices and, if enabled, promotional notifications.
  • Check for App updates and maintain service quality and security.
  • Respond to customer support requests.

3. Bluetooth and Location Permissions

To discover and connect to nearby compatible devices, the App may request Bluetooth and related system permissions.

On some Android versions, scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices requires Location permission. We request this permission only to discover and connect to Bluetooth devices. We do not use it to track your geographic location, and we do not collect, store, or upload GPS/location coordinates for advertising or profiling.

If you deny Location or Bluetooth permission, device discovery, connection, or control features may be limited or unavailable. You can manage permissions in your phone settings at any time.

4. Sharing of Information

We may share information only when necessary:

  • With service providers who help operate hosting, maintenance, or customer support, under confidentiality obligations.
  • When required by applicable law, regulation, or lawful request.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or business transfer, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Where applicable law allows, you may request deletion of related data.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please keep your device and App updated.

The App is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. International Users

If you access the App from outside the country where our servers or operators are located, your information may be processed in other jurisdictions with different data-protection rules.
